Ask Alidade from Slack and Linear.

We build the analyst every team wishes it had.

Alidade is a small team in Portland building product analytics that explain themselves.

Our story

Alidade started in 2023 in Portland. Iris Navarro and Ben Achterberg had spent years answering the same “why did this drop” questions by hand, and wanted a tool that did it for them.

The first version was a Slack bot that wrote one insight a day. Teams read it before standup, then asked for more metrics, more detail and more answers.

Today 18 people build Alidade for more than 400 product teams. We still want every alert to read like a note from a good analyst.

What we care about.

Plain English first

Every insight is written so anyone on the team can read it. No jargon to decode.

Your data stays put

Alidade reads from your warehouse with read-only access. Nothing is copied out.

Earn every alert

If a change doesn’t matter, we don’t send it. A quiet day is a good day.
